Youth head to Carolina Cross Connection

Twenty Central UMC youth will travel on Sunday, June 24, to serve the community around South Mountain Family Camp in Casar, NC.  They will be building, cleaning, mowing, encouraging, praying and smiling.  Please pray for the youth and leaders as they spend a week of spiritual enrichment and service in Christ’s name.  They will return on Saturday, June 30.  You can learn all about their experience at worship on Sunday, July 8.

Girl Scouts Meet at Central

Girl Scout Troop 2966 participated in worship earlier in March.

All girls are invited to join Troop 2966 which meets at Central UMC.  Troop leaders are Marjorie Kanipes, Diamond Cheeseman, Tomani Cheeseman and Jean Kanipes.  Interested girls should call the church office at 704-536-9157 for more information.

Central’s youth assembled hygiene kits for hurricane victims

Central UMC youth spent a week at Camp McCall doing service projects for needy individuals and reported to the congregation on they way they saw God through their service.
